Update as at 26 Feb 2023:Received a same day service recovery call from the company, by Catherine, who gave a clear explanation as to what was going on. I proceeded with the site inspection, which they have kindly waived off the inspection fee. Aru was very professional and patiently explained the problem with the wiring.On the day of the wiring installation, Aru and his colleague service was impeccable. Service delivery was fast, immaculate and professionally done. They had even wanted to do a clean up, rather than leaving it to home owners to clean up, after the works were done.One month warranty was provided for works and follow up on work performed was done shortly after Aru and his colleague left. Very impressed with Aru and Catherine.14 Feb 2023Tried and was unable to engage the services of their licensed electricians for electrical works. The 1 star is for the poor/unprofessional/unhelpful customer service.I tried to WA to request for assistance in engaging their licensed electrician for electrical services. I was met with repeated "... we cannot help." response. It was only after some prompting that it was revealed that "... our licensed electrician is currently not available, so we don't provide troubleshooting service for the power trip at the moment."When the date for the next availability was requested, the response was "... we dont (sic) have spesific (sic) date yet." period.This situation of getting electrical services from an electrical company with licensed electricans all over sg (per their company website) really befuddles me.

Guna did a great job replacing light switches and some hard to reach light bulbs. Very knowledgeable and tidy.Edit:Second visit, replaced 2x ceiling light fittings. Tidy and great job. Very pleased. Will call again for other works as he mentioned, includes plumbing and aircon.

Their technician Bala did a great job, changed entire socket as opposed to just changing the cover. In addition he helped to check a few other sockets and ensured me the house wiring is in good order. I'm pleased and will continue to use their service. Highly recommended!

Update: used this same company several years after my first experience. The company is now under a larger umbrella group, but the service level is still very high. Very positive and efficient job done. Representative was also very good.I had a very positive experience with the folks at Daylight Electrician Singapore. My dryer basically melted (omg!) the power point it was using and I was really worried what to do. I WhatsApped with their service team and they advised to buy a new part (perfectly reasonable) to have the socket replaced. But they suggested first to let the electrician come take a look and assess. Long story short, the electrician came over and had a very simple solution to my problem and probably saved me more than $100 overall. He also changed the plug on my dryer which had been damaged for a reasonable fee. I'm thinking to engage them again for some further work. Thanks!

Mr Mani did a great job to install a new light and replaced a display bulb as I required them changed urgently before CNY. He is very experienced and friendly and even advise me to use energy saving bulbs to save cost. Would definitely refer his services to my friends.

My down light at bathroom blew and they came and replaced with a new light. Shortly after the chandelier lights also went dark. So glad the electricians could fix it. Now all is bright and well😃 The electricians did awesome jobs at my place. Would highly recommend them.

Had blew a ballast in one of my lightbulb holder in the morning, WhatsApp them for a quotation and it was $86 nett inclusive of site inspection and labour cost. Way cheaper than those independent contractor recommended by your Town Council or hardware shop. Initial appointment arranged was for next day but received a call they could attend within the same day in the evening. Technician came over around 820pm and all was done within 15 minutes! Impressed by their service level! Highly recommend to all who needs help in their electrical works!

Had problem with lighting in 2 rooms
The electrician (Mani) was punctual. He knows his work well and diagnosed the problem instantly after viewing the lights. Fast and professional in his work. Very humble and courteous person.
Most important of all, he is honest in his dealings. Only charged for repair for one room as the fault lies only in one room.
Price is reasonable.

I totally recommend! They reply to customer enquiries quite promptly in professional manner via a Whatsapp. They tried to provide with earliest slot available. It was a fast diagnosis and repair of our lights, initially we suspect it was a ballast issue but instead it came out to be the ballast wiring issue that the technician came to replace. It was a smooth and fast service and booking an appointment was simple through WhatsApp. Technician also adhered to the mask wearing during the current covid phase 1 period

I called United Electrician to look at a flickering lamp. They came and charged me $50 saying lamp needed to change but have to wait one month till Circuit Breaker is over. It will cost $150 including supply and fitting the lamp. I can't wait one month and offered to find my own lamp. They said if I find my lamp, they will charge me $50 for installation. After I bought the lamp, they claimed it is $140 to fix the lamp instead of $50. I didn't want any more to do with them and called up Daylight Electrician. Ms Goh from Daylight listened to my situation and provided an offer instantly after I showed the photos. They charged me $80 which was reasonable in my opinion and with no hidden cost or nonsense. They best part is they managed to come within the same day I called, technician was polite, knowledgeable and explains to me patiently why my lamp was flickering (something United Electrician cannot do, they only say have to change the whole lamp). They gave an E receipt on the spot which is environmental friendly too. After my horrified experience with United, Daylight was like an Knight bringing immediate brightness to our dining room. We do not have to eat in the dark for one month until the Circuit Breaker is over! I will definitely recommend Daylight for your hassle free electrical problem.

Daylight Electrician was quick to reply my WhatsApp, noting the issues I faced and asking for details/pictures. Even the charges were explicitly stated to avoid any misunderstanding. Appreciate that their staff came within a day, well prepared and aware of the various issues.
Sakthi was patient in listening to our concerns and explaining assuredly to us what went on, whether it was faulty switches or burnt out wires. He was systematic in checking and fixing each issue, even those that we failed to mention before confirming the job.

Friendly customer service and arranged ad-hoc repair on the same day despite short notice. Experience electrician, quick in troubleshooting and fix up the faults. He explained to me the cause of the fault. Mostly important, price is reasonable😊. Highly recommended👍

Technician is good and punctual, able to fix the faulty switch and connect back the electricity fast. Just that the repair is not able to schedule on the same day, due to schedule is full. So has to wait one day later. Telephone line is re-directed and nobody pick up. Only can go through by mobile and Whatsapp.

New water heater failed to turn on after installing. Plumbers from Mr Plumber said it is likely an electrical issue so refered me to Daylight Electrician. Guy came down the same day and 1 look at the situation, knew what the problem was. Bad wire. Replaced the whole stretch of wire from wall to the heater and my broken switch box. Done within an hour.

Daylight Electrician really lives up to their good reviews here. Responses were quick and this Mr Oh I liaised with was very friendly and very helpful in answering all my questions. On the day of appointment, they were able to find out the cause of issue quickly and had it fixed fast. I was really impressed and that really takes away the stress of such household issues!

Mr Oh and his team are very professional. Two electricians made a site visit to confirm that a 3 bulb lighting I wanted to purchase online could be installed above the mirror in my bathroom. I purchased the lighting and they installed it very neatly. Responsive and dependable. Thank you for your excellent service at a reasonable price.

Thumbs up for their quick responses and friendly staff. I had problems with my ceiling lights and their technician came, inspected and fixed the lights the very next day. He was turned away at my condo guardhouse but was patient enough to wait for me to explain to the management to let him in. Will definitely engage their services if the need arises in future.

I had a good experience with Daylight Electrician. I contacted them about the spoilt bedroom light. Michael whatsapped and they came in 45mins. Also, the toilet lights were working but the casing needed to be changed. Due to the uncommon type of casing, I asked if they could help get the casing and Michael made some suggestions over whatsapp. The team did a good job and I would engage their services again. I want to thank daylight electrician for their excellent work to solve the overheated wiring issue for my old storage water heater. I had engaged a few plumbers who couldn't fix the issue and had to find an electrician who could troubleshoot. The licensed electrician, Mr Ang and his worker did some test and found out that some of the wiring needed to be replaced. The work was promptly done on the same day and I had my water heater up and running within an hour. Really impressed by their knowledge and skill. Great job!

I don't write reviews often but I really have to commend daylight electrician for their commitment to help me on a Sunday morning. I had a faulty ceiling fan issue that needed to be fix urgently as I had a family event at home, tried to call a few electricians but could not get hold of any. Thankfully I found them through a google search and Mr Ang was able to come by to fix the problem in a fast and efficient manner. Great effort and many thanks!

The electrician helped me change 4 power socket installation, including rewiring and repositioning of the points in the house. The electrician came with another electrical worker and both of them did a very tidy job and even provided advice on which is the best wiring route, which was different but better than what I initially thought. Overall very friendly humble service with reasonable price, will highly recommend them.
