Daylight Electrician (and Everyworks) offers very competitive pricing for most contractor services. I think it’s my good luck to have gotten Sakthi as my electrician for the past few jobs. He first came to fix two busted switches, then subsequently by luck, got him as my electrician again to install extra powerpoints at my new house. He advised me to change my oven plug from a UK plug to SG plug before I move into my new house (cos of the BTO wiring issue). An extremely pleasant and professional experience dealing with Daylight Electrician over the weekend. Had a power surge/overload on Friday night and contracted Daylight for the servicing and managed to get it resolved on Sunday morning!Firstly, the initial outreach was great - CS Dessa highlighted charges and explanation of next steps to be expected. Pleased to find out they were operating on the weekend, and no extra charges!Secondly, service was great - technician Aru came punctually at our arranged time (9AM) and he was super patient in listening to the issue. We walked though the problem together and he managed to get it pinpointed and explained the steps before fixing. Aru also shared some tips and suggestions which were useful.Thirdly, underrated but the fees breakdown were clear and the process was seamless. Fees were laid out nicely and the cost was reasonable for the work done. Received an invoice immediately after payment which was a surprise.All in all, a good experience that resolved the issues we were facing, and we won't hesitate to use Daylight again if we have any future problems. Update as at 26 Feb 2023:Received a same day service recovery call from the company, by Catherine, who gave a clear explanation as to what was going on. I proceeded with the site inspection, which they have kindly waived off the inspection fee. Aru was very professional and patiently explained the problem with the wiring.On the day of the wiring installation, Aru and his colleague service was impeccable. Service delivery was fast, immaculate and professionally done. They had even wanted to do a clean up, rather than leaving it to home owners to clean up, after the works were done.One month warranty was provided for works and follow up on work performed was done shortly after Aru and his colleague left. Very impressed with Aru and Catherine.14 Feb 2023Tried and was unable to engage the services of their licensed electricians for electrical works. The 1 star is for the poor/unprofessional/unhelpful customer service.I tried to WA to request for assistance in engaging their licensed electrician for electrical services. I was met with repeated "... we cannot help." response. It was only after some prompting that it was revealed that "... our licensed electrician is currently not available, so we don't provide troubleshooting service for the power trip at the moment."When the date for the next availability was requested, the response was "... we dont (sic) have spesific (sic) date yet." period.This situation of getting electrical services from an electrical company with licensed electricans all over sg (per their company website) really befuddles me.

Update: used this same company several years after my first experience. The company is now under a larger umbrella group, but the service level is still very high. Very positive and efficient job done. Representative was also very good.I had a very positive experience with the folks at Daylight Electrician Singapore. My dryer basically melted (omg!) the power point it was using and I was really worried what to do. I WhatsApped with their service team and they advised to buy a new part (perfectly reasonable) to have the socket replaced. But they suggested first to let the electrician come take a look and assess. Long story short, the electrician came over and had a very simple solution to my problem and probably saved me more than $100 overall. He also changed the plug on my dryer which had been damaged for a reasonable fee. I'm thinking to engage them again for some further work. Thanks!

Aru was the electrician that helped us change out a light switch. He was quick, professional, but most of all conscientious - helped to patch up part of the wall we had damaged (trying to do it ourselves), cleaned up every speck around the switch and on the floor. The customer service was so responsive even on a Saturday, and they clearly have their processes in place - just an overall straightforward and pleasant experience, which is as much as you can hope for when your lights are not working!

Prompt response and excellent service! I experienced a faulty light and power trip issue on the day before the eve of CNY, and their slots were full. I requested for an urgent service because the live wires were exposed in my bathroom and I was too worried about it. Had blew a ballast in one of my lightbulb holder in the morning, WhatsApp them for a quotation and it was $86 nett inclusive of site inspection and labour cost. Way cheaper than those independent contractor recommended by your Town Council or hardware shop. Initial appointment arranged was for next day but received a call they could attend within the same day in the evening. Technician came over around 820pm and all was done within 15 minutes! It was a fast diagnosis and repair of our lights, initially we suspect it was a ballast issue but instead it came out to be the ballast wiring issue that the technician came to replace. It was a smooth and fast service and booking an appointment was simple through WhatsApp. Technician also adhered to the mask wearing during the current covid phase 1 period

I called United Electrician to look at a flickering lamp. They came and charged me $50 saying lamp needed to change but have to wait one month till Circuit Breaker is over. It will cost $150 including supply and fitting the lamp. I can't wait one month and offered to find my own lamp. They said if I find my lamp, they will charge me $50 for installation. After I bought the lamp, they claimed it is $140 to fix the lamp instead of $50. I didn't want any more to do with them and called up Daylight Electrician. Ms Goh from Daylight listened to my situation and provided an offer instantly after I showed the photos. They charged me $80 which was reasonable in my opinion and with no hidden cost or nonsense. They best part is they managed to come within the same day I called, technician was polite, knowledgeable and explains to me patiently why my lamp was flickering (something United Electrician cannot do, they only say have to change the whole lamp). They gave an E receipt on the spot which is environmental friendly too. After my horrified experience with United, Daylight was like an Knight bringing immediate brightness to our dining room. We do not have to eat in the dark for one month until the Circuit Breaker is over! I will definitely recommend Daylight for your hassle free electrical problem.

Technician is good and punctual, able to fix the faulty switch and connect back the electricity fast. Just that the repair is not able to schedule on the same day, due to schedule is full. So has to wait one day later. Telephone line is re-directed and nobody pick up. Only can go through by mobile and Whatsapp.

New water heater failed to turn on after installing. Plumbers from Mr Plumber said it is likely an electrical issue so refered me to Daylight Electrician. Guy came down the same day and 1 look at the situation, knew what the problem was. Bad wire. Replaced the whole stretch of wire from wall to the heater and my broken switch box. Done within an hour.

Mr Oh and his team are very professional. Two electricians made a site visit to confirm that a 3 bulb lighting I wanted to purchase online could be installed above the mirror in my bathroom. Also, the toilet lights were working but the casing needed to be changed. I want to thank daylight electrician for their excellent work to solve the overheated wiring issue for my old storage water heater. I had engaged a few plumbers who couldn't fix the issue and had to find an electrician who could troubleshoot. The licensed electrician, Mr Ang and his worker did some test and found out that some of the wiring needed to be replaced. The work was promptly done on the same day and I had my water heater up and running within an hour. Really impressed by their knowledge and skill. Great job!

I had a faulty ceiling fan issue that needed to be fix urgently as I had a family event at home, tried to call a few electricians but could not get hold of any. The electrician helped me change 4 power socket installation, including rewiring and repositioning of the points in the house. The electrician came with another electrical worker and both of them did a very tidy job and even provided advice on which is the best wiring route, which was different but better than what I initially thought. Everything seems to be ok for now. Your chap Sakthi was very pleasant and seemed to know what to look for. He uncovered the loose connections issue in the DB. Instead of inspection, he fixed the faulty drivers in my toilet LEDs. Even gave me advise on how to troubleshoot faulty lightings. Definitely be engaging Everyworks if I ever need one.

Daylight Electrician (and Everyworks) offers very competitive pricing for most contractor services. I think it’s my good luck to have gotten Sakthi as my electrician for the past few jobs. He first came to fix two busted switches, then subsequently by luck, got him as my electrician again to install extra powerpoints at my new house. He advised me to change my oven plug from a UK plug to SG plug before I move into my new house (cos of the BTO wiring issue). I engaged him specifically for the change of oven plug yesterday and the job was done in just a few minutes.Thanks Daylight! My go-to electrician!
